Let's Begin the Challenge!

HackEclipse

, hosted by the Google Developer Student Clubs Universiti Sains Malaysia (GDSC USM), is an empowering online hackathon designed to introduce and deepen undergraduate students' proficiency in Flutter — a powerful UI toolkit from Google that enables seamless, natively compiled applications across mobile, web, and desktop platforms from a single codebase.

As GDSC USM's signature event, HackEclipse offers participants a three-week window to conceive, design, and develop innovative projects. The event not only provides a stage for students to showcase their technical acumen but also offers an environment for creativity and peer-to-peer learning. Throughout the competition, projects will be carefully reviewed by industry professionals and opened up for public voting, based on key aspects such as user interface, originality, functionality, and code quality.

HackEclipse aims to foster a community of future tech leaders equipped with cutting-edge Flutter skills and ready to make an impact. This hackathon also represents an invaluable opportunity to connect students, industry experts, and academia in a collaborative spirit that extends beyond the competition, setting students on a path toward mastering the tech tools of tomorrow.
